Ghanaian batik is known for its vibrant color, lush patterns, and stylish flexibility. This art tradition is passed on generation to generation from mother to daughter.

Batik is a technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to whole cloth, which was originated from Java, Indonesia. A design is printed, stamped or drawn onto cotton fabric using melted wax. The fabric is then dyed and the parts of the design, which are covered by the wax, are resisted.
